Full Job Description

Job Title: Tool Room Die Repair

SUMMARY

Assists Tool & Die Makers and Die Maintenance with the building and repairing of tools, dies, and fixtures. Operates various tool room equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties include, but may not be limited to, the following:

· Operates various tool room machinery and equipment.

· Reads and interprets Engineering drawings or job orders for product specifications.

· Performs various routine tasks associated with the build and/or maintenance of tools, dies, and fixtures.

· Completes and maintains records and logs as required for the job.

· Maintains assigned equipment and work area for safety and cleanliness.

· All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Pay Rate depends on experience level

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.

· Understands or learns principles and basic functions of fineblank presses or hydraulic presses.

· Good reading, writing, mathematical, listening, communicating skills, and organization skills.

· Basic computer skills and Organizational Skills

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak and communicate effectively. Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
