Full Job Description

Regional Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Manager to oversee the operations and performance of an assigned portfolio of manufactured housing and RV communities. This leadership role is responsible for driving occupancy, improving collections, supporting team development, and ensuring consistent operational execution across the portfolio.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, accountable, and capable of leading multiple teams while maintaining strong portfolio performance and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and operational oversight for 1,000+ manufactured housing and RV lots
Lead, coach, and develop District Managers, Area Managers, Community Managers, and Maintenance staff
Drive portfolio performance across occupancy, home sales, collections, and POH refurbishments
Ensure accountability and provide ongoing coaching to team members
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Fair Housing regulations
Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members
Oversee portfolio operations while minimizing direct involvement in daily property management activities
Manage Capex projects and ensure timely completion
Oversee new home installations and monitor project progress
Address resident or tenant concerns as needed
Prioritize urgent and time-sensitive tasks and projects
Provide regular reporting and updates to Supervisor
Travel to assigned communities monthly to quarterly based on portfolio needs
Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor

Travel Requirements

Quarterly community inspections or as directed by Supervisor
Additional property visits may be required depending on operational needs

Physical Requirements

This role involves both office and field work. Candidates must be comfortable traveling frequently and walking properties in various outdoor conditions, including uneven terrain and gravel roads.

The employee must be able to:

Sit for extended periods while working on a computer and communicating by phone/email
Stand and walk for extended periods during property visits
Drive for prolonged periods
Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Bend, stoop, and navigate stairs, steps, or inclines

Qualifications

Previous regional or multi-site property management experience preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience managing teams and driving operational performance
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of Fair Housing compliance preferred
Willingness and ability to travel regularly
