Full Job Description

At Stateline Equipment, we specialize in providing high quality outdoor power equipment, parts and service. We take pride in our exceptional customer service. We are looking for a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Parts and Service Counter Professional to join our dynamic team. We are a fun and friendly environment; and you will be the first point on contact for customers seeking assistance with parts, service, and equipment-related inquiries.

Primary Responsibilities:

Meet and assist the customer in a courteous and professional manner providing them with the information they need.
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
Answer telephone calls promptly and provide professional service ensuring the customer’s needs are met.
Assist in maintaining the parts department in a clean and organized manner.
Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date.
Fill parts requests for the service technicians.
Assist the Service Manager as needed with completing repair orders.
Participates in inventory checks / cycle counts.
Follows all company and vendor policies and procedures
Adaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment
Ability to communicate and multi-task effectively.

Qualifications:

Two or more year’s related experience in a parts department required.
Familiarity with outdoor power equipment brands preferred (ie: Briggs & Stratton, Kawasaki, Stihl, etc.)
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
A positive, professional, and team-oriented mindset.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Weekends required - 1/2 days on Saturday only
Day shift
8 hour shift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
