Full Job Description

Position Summary

Position: Regional Field Director
Reports to: Statewide Campaigns Director
Location: Hybrid/Remote, AZ
Salary Range: $65,000-75,000 (based on experience)

Under the direction of and close collaboration with the Campaigns Director, the Rural Arizona Engagement and Rural Arizona Action (RAZE/A) Deputy Field Director will play a key role in our community engagement efforts. The Deputy Field Director will work closely with the Campaigns Director to develop and implement strategies that strengthen community relationships, promote our organization's mission, and drive grassroots initiatives. This position requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a passion for community advocacy and empowerment.

ResponsibilitiesStrategic Field Management

Collaborate with the Campaigns Director to develop and execute comprehensive field plans that align with organizational goals and priorities.
Manage the day to day activities of southern regional field efforts including guiding programs, streamlining field efforts, coaching, and seeking improvements and adjustments when necessary
Coordinate regional canvassing efforts including voter registration and get out the vote campaigns
Assist in identifying key community stakeholders, organizations, and leaders, and establish and maintain relationships to leverage resources and enhance field efforts
Collect, analyze, and report data on daily field efforts tracking progress towards goals and making data-driven recommendations for improvement
Participate in strategic planning sessions to contribute insights and ideas for enhancing the impact of campaigns in the southern region
Stay informed about local and regional trends, policies, and issues affecting the community and share relevant insights with the team.
Represent the organization at external events, meetings, and conferences to expand the organization's network and promote its mission.

Employee Management

Manage a team of field managers under the guidance of the campaigns director, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure effective execution of community outreach and mobilization activities
Regional teams to include Pima, Southern Pinal, Yuma, and Cochise Counties
Assist with hiring and regional buildout of teams and canvassers

Collaboration

Collaborate with other departments to build cross-departmental systems and structures to support the field efforts
Collaborate with the communications team to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all canvassing efforts
Support the development and distribution of materials (lit, shirts, supplies, etc) to all regional teams
Assist in managing budgets related to field activities, ensuring responsible allocation of resources.
