Full Job Description

Part-Time Faculty
Nursing

The Nursing Program is inviting applications for master’s (preferred) or baccalaureate prepared part-time clinical instructors for the Fall 2026 semester (August to December 2026).

Qualifications:

Earned MSN.

Two years’ (full-time) clinical experience.

Licensed as an RN in South Carolina.

Commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring

Responsibilities:

Teaches in on-campus simulation laboratory, skills laboratory, and/or inpatient clinical setting
supervising eight (8) junior or senior baccalaureate-nursing students. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Organize and plan clinical days for students.
Communicate weekly with course coordinator.
Provide feedback for care plans/ concept maps.
Participate in course orientation with course coordinator.
Read adjunct faculty and student handbooks.
Orient to the clinical facility if not employed in the facility.
Submit all needed paperwork, criminal background check, drug screen and vaccination records.
Assure completion of necessary student records/reports by designated due date and forward to course coordinator.
Report midterm warnings to the course coordinator for processing.
Role model professional behavior and appearance.

Start Date: August 19, 2026
