Full Job Description

Kingsford Broach & Tool, Inc. is a manufacturer of precision metal cutting tools. We have immediate openings for 2 full-time OD Grinders on day or afternoon shift and one full-time 6-Axis Machinist on afternoon shift. Afternoon shift is Monday through Thursday, 4 ten-hour shifts per week. $3.00 per hour afternoon shift premium. Flexible shift starting times for day shift at either 4:00 am or 6:00 am and afternoon shift at 12:30 pm or 2:30 pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up and operate a variety of machines
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition
Follow safety procedures
Follow company quality control processes
Other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities:

Attention to detail
Ability to do basic troubleshooting
High standard of workmanship
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

Qualifications:

Experience is preferred but not required
Blueprint interpretation skills
Knowledge of measuring equipment, specifically micrometers, is preferred but not required.
Basic math skills
