Rockland Custom Products is currently seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our product design team.
At Rockland we design, engineer, and produce custom vehicle storage solutions, consoles, and a long list of other accessories for First-Responder and Fleet vehicles, as well as Off-Road and Recreational vehicles. Made with the highest quality and the most durable of materials, we are always coming up with new cutting-edge products for the industries we serve.
This role will be responsible for nesting and cutting materials for production, maintaining a clean workspace, and performing routine maintenance on machinery. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Nest designs in system to be sent to CNC

Load materials into CNC

Verify cut files are correct
-
Continuously performs preventive maintenance

Cleaning and maintaining safe work spaces

Assist with picking inventory for production

Troubleshoot design issues with design staff

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) like gloves, goggles, and respirators.

Certification or degree from an accredited institution related to manufacturing required

Must have working knowledge of programming CNC machines to ensure proper calculations, parameters, and other conditional requirements are met.

Minimum of 2 years of previous on the job experience.

Standing, walking, and handling tools for the length of an 8-hour shift. Lifting and moving up to 50 pounds as needed.
