Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packager/Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, packaging, and preparing products for shipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturing protocols. Your proactive approach will help maintain efficient production flow, uphold quality standards, and support the overall success of our manufacturing operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with industrial equipment, packaging machinery, and materials handling processes in a fast-paced environment committed to excellence.

Duties

Assemble products according to manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production documents
Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently to prepare items for shipment
Conduct heavy lifting and materials handling to move raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse or production area
Troubleshoot mechanical issues with industrial equipment or packaging machinery using basic mechanical knowledge and hand tools
Follow safety protocol adherence, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with safety standards in production
Maintain accurate documentation related to production activities, including batch records, quality checks, and inventory logs
Use forklift or other material handling equipment safely to transport materials throughout the manufacturing facility

Skills

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including assembly and packaging techniques
Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), FDA regulations, and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards
Experience operating packaging equipment and industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment
Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions
Mechanical troubleshooting skills for industrial equipment issues; familiarity with hand tools is a plus
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments
Warehouse experience with materials handling equipment operation such as forklifts or material carts
Awareness of safety standards in production environments, including heavy lifting techniques and safety protocol adherence
Familiarity with manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP compliance requirements
