Community Manager – Operations & Sales

About the Role

Are you a dynamic leader passionate about hospitality, real estate, and community living? We’re seeking a Community Manager – Operations & Sales to oversee day-to-day operations of a large community. This is a unique opportunity for a proven leader who thrives on delivering top-tier service, driving revenue, and cultivating a vibrant community atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

Supervise and support department heads across property management, operations, and sales.
Determine appropriate staffing levels and lead recruitment, training, and development initiatives.
Foster a culture of service excellence and teamwork throughout the community.

Operations Oversight

Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of all physical assets.
Conduct routine property inspections, ensuring compliance with safety, maintenance, and appearance standards.
Coordinate capital improvement projects and vendor management.

Financial Performance

Develop, manage, and monitor operating and sales budgets.
Analyze monthly P&L reports and implement corrective actions as needed.
Drive revenue through strategic home sales, occupancy growth, and service enhancements.

Sales & Marketing

Lead home inventory acquisition and oversee new and resale home sales programs.
Implement marketing strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
Collaborate with corporate marketing on branding, campaigns, and lead generation.

Resident & Guest Relations

Ensure superior customer experience for residents, prospective buyers, and community guests.
Engage with resident boards, HOAs, and community groups.
Respond promptly and professionally to resident concerns and complaints.

Compliance & Regulation

Enforce community covenants, rules, and regulations.
Maintain knowledge of and adherence to federal, state, and local housing laws.
Ensure rent increases and other notices are administered in accordance with regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience in property management, hospitality, or community operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Proven leadership and staff development skills
Strong financial acumen and familiarity with accounting principles
Experience with home sales and real estate marketing is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Rent Manager or similar property management systems preferred
Ability to travel locally and occasionally overnight

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: 125,000/year + Bonus + Commission
