Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized administrator for skilled home health care agency to lead and coordinate our home health services. This vital role involves managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a patient-centered environment. The administrator will oversee staff supervision, case management, and the implementation of quality standards to deliver exceptional care. Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the home health care agency, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to policies and procedures
Supervise clinical and administrative staff, including nurses, case managers, and support personnel, fostering a collaborative team environment
Manage patient care programs by coordinating services, monitoring quality standards, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare laws
Implement utilization management strategies to optimize resource use while maintaining high-quality patient outcomes
Maintain accurate medical records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and ensure documentation aligns with regulatory requirements
Conduct case management activities, including assessments, care planning, and coordination for diverse patient populations such as senior care, hospice care, or acute care cases
Oversee budgeting processes, financial planning, and resource allocation to support sustainable operations
Ensure staff training on medical terminology, medical records management, EMR/EHR systems, and HIPAA compliance
Collaborate with healthcare providers across various settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals (including ICU and Level I Trauma Centers), and emergency medicine units

Skills

Extensive experience in healthcare management with a focus on home care or related settings
Strong supervisory skills with proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively
In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA regulations
Proficiency in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems for documentation and data analysis
Familiarity with critical care environments, including ICU experience or Level II Trauma Center experience, is highly desirable
Experience in case management across diverse healthcare settings such as hospice care, senior care facilities, or hospital medicine
Ability to handle budgeting, utilization management, and resource planning efficiently
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with healthcare providers
Knowledge of medical records protocols and familiarity with MDS (Minimum Data Set) processes for long-term care facilities

Seeking an administrator at Seaside Home Health, a Medicare-certified skilled home health agency, to lead our team . This is office-based work providing overall oversight of the agency, including operations, clinical, growth, marketing, pre-claim review, revenue cycle management, Medicare regulations, AHCA, and the Joint Commission guidelines. You’ll support our Director of Nursing in maintaining quality, mentorship, and regulatory compliance.

In this role, you'll:
Supervise office staff and field staff across disciplines
Act as hiring manager, providing HR support including proper orientation
Review of documentation for compliance and quality
Have oversight of all current and future business and growth
Work closely with Patient Liaisons to identify new business and maintain business
Oversee Pre-Claim Review team, including Revenue Cycle Management

We’re looking for:

Required: 1 - 2 years of experience as the Administrator of a Medicare Certified Home Health Agency. Do not apply without this experience.
Required: Knowledge of the Clinical and Field Medicare Home Health Business
Required: Bachelors Degree required
Required: Can prove strong leadership and background in a Medicare Certified Home Health Agency
Required: Experience with RCD, PDGM, AHCA, The Joint Commission, and Medicare COPs Do not apply without this experience.
Required: Axxess EMR knowledge or similar
