WHY WHITE GLOVE
White Glove Appliance Service is the South Florida operation of an established North American appliance-service group with six locations and a team of more than 60 technicians across the group, now expanding into the South Florida market.
We are hiring an experienced technician to join our founding South Florida team. You will get the autonomy and advancement potential of a growing market, backed by the systems and support of an established company. The work spans premium and mainstream appliances, advanced sealed-system repairs, and the opportunity to help shape the Florida operation. And while our Florida office is new, you will be a valued member of a much larger team. We take pride in a professional, welcoming workplace where people are treated well and set up to succeed.
THE ROLE
You will travel to customers' homes to diagnose and repair residential appliances. We strive to complete every service call as effectively and professionally as possible, while showing respect for the customer, their home, their family, and their appliances, and we look for strong technical judgment, careful workmanship, and clear communication to match.
As the face of White Glove Appliance Service, you are expected to present a clean, professional appearance and conduct yourself with courtesy, integrity, and respect in every customer home.
Customer satisfaction and first-visit effectiveness are core measures of success in this role. After each completed repair, every customer receives a service-experience survey, and technicians are expected to consistently earn strong ratings through accurate repairs, clear communication, punctuality, and careful treatment of the home. Survey results and related customer-satisfaction metrics are reviewed as part of ongoing performance. We know a first-visit completion is not always possible, but consistently effective, well-executed service calls weigh heavily in performance reviews and in qualifying for the annual bonus. You will also be well supported. Our field service managers and ongoing training from our service management team are there to help you sharpen your skills and perform at your best.
