Primary Responsibility:

Work directly with key stakeholders to assist in driving business decisions.
Analyze monthly financial results, including KPI’s, and identify/explain trends, preparing related summaries/management reports for business leaders and other key stakeholders.
Assist in building monthly reporting packages, decks and communication of results.
Develop and automate models to transform data into meaningful, clear, concise reporting/action plans.
Assist in developing Budget/Plan and Forecast using various models, industry data, and insights from business leaders.
Develop end-to-end product knowledge to support business decision making.
Help run projects and be able to mentor Junior/Senior Analysts on the team.
Collaborate with Technology and Data & Analytics business partners to build and implement AI-centric reporting, modeling, and business insight solutions.
Support business opportunities by collaborating with business leaders and their teams, creating proformas, and other ad-hoc analysis.
Ability and willingness to collaborate with key stakeholders and other cross-functional groups (Ops, Accounting, Technology, Data & Analytics, etc.)
Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations (Baldwin Group Azimuth) and influencing others to reward performance.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, and/or other relevant disciplines.
Experience: 3+ years of relevant work experience.
Licenses: CPA or CFA preferred but not required. Insurance licenses such as CPCU, Affiliated, P&C licensing, etc. a plus.
Experience with Workday suite of products and Adaptive Insights a plus.
Experience with process automation and utilization of Anthropic AI tools a plus

Skills:

Analyze information and use logic/rationale that connects concepts.
Ability to build a story around your findings and relay results to leaders.
Willingness to lead projects and align colleagues to achieve goals.
Utilize effective research and investigative techniques.
Basic understanding of GAAP (accruals, revenue recognition, etc.)
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
Experience with AI tools and process automation is preferable.
Insurance industry experience is strongly preferred.

Work Environment:

Travel Frequency – Up to 10%.
Strong preference for candidate to reside in Tampa, FL or Boston, MA with a hybrid office schedule of 2-3 days a week.
Open to remote for strong candidates.

Starting Compensation: $100,000 + annually
