Full Job Description

We are looking for a skilled, well-rounded, and experienced Tax Preparer to join our team! As a Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for preparing tax returns, communication with clients, working with our team, and other accounting functions.

This position is open to full-time, part-time, and seasonal applicants, but we encourage applicants to consider a permanent position to promote growth and development as a team. Candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and tax preparation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ascertain that client documents and records are accurate, reasonable, and up-to-date
Record and adjust financial transactions
Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
Generate useful and meaningful financial reports
Work closely and effectively with our entire team
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion
Provide feedback to the team to assist in streamlining and improving our processes for increased efficiency
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
Utilize strong and effective communication skills and have the ability to work well with clients
Ability to work independently and as a team

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proficiency in QuickBooks
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as a team
High level of integrity and professionalism
