Job Description
We are looking for an IT Project Coordinator to provide administrative and coordination support for engineering and development teams. The IT Project Coordinator will serve as the operational backbone of technical projects by managing project documentation, coordinating workflows, tracking deliverables, supporting change management processes, and facilitating communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders. This position will be a contract and onsite in Miramar, FL. The role also includes up to 20% international travel to support global project collaboration and cross-office coordination.
What You'll Do
Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to engineering and development teams
Create, submit, and track change request tickets, ensuring documentation and approval workflows are completed accurately
Maintain and organize project documentation, team workspaces, and knowledge bases within Confluence
Manage, update, and triage Jira tickets and workflows, ensuring project boards remain current and accurate
Prepare project reports, status updates, and presentations for leadership, summarizing progress, risks, blockers, and timelines
Organize and schedule team meetings, including stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and stakeholder meetings
Track project timelines, deliverables, action items, and dependencies, following up with team members as needed
Support process consistency by maintaining documentation standards, naming conventions, and project governance practices
Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, communicating project updates in a clear and understandable manner
Assist with onboarding team members to project tools, processes, and collaboration platforms
Travel internationally (approximately 20%) to support project coordination, team meetings, and stakeholder engagement across global offices
What You'll Need
Required:
2-5+ years of experience supporting engineering, IT, or software development teams in a project coordination or administrative capacity
Experience using Jira and Confluence for ticket management, workflow coordination, and documentation
Experience creating, tracking, and managing change request tickets in a technical environment
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Experience preparing project reports and compiling data for leadership review
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to proactively identify and address project needs
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, product teams, and business stakeholders
Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 20% of the year
Valid travel document and ability to obtain any required travel documentation
Preferred:
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
Experience with additional project management platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, or Microsoft Project
Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), IT Service Management (ITSM), or change management processes
Experience building dashboards, reports, or metrics in Confluence, Excel, or business intelligence tools
Experience supporting distributed or international teams
Physical Demands

$35-$40 per hour
The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
