Job Description
As a Network Field Infrastructure Technician (NFIT), you will be a part of a crucial team that is responsible for maintaining and commissioning the cabling, antennas, grounding, electronics, and other applicable components on water towers, cell towers, buildings, and other elevated structures, to provide high-speed wireless internet connectivity to underserved individuals in the rural parts of the Florida panhandle and parts of Alabama. You will be trained by the Infrastructure Supervisor in tower safety and all other aspects of the job and climbing certified by the VP. The Network Field Infrastructure Technician will report directly to Keith Pegues, Site Acquisition & Logistics Manager.
As our network continues to expand, travel requirements and schedules may vary depending on operational needs. Flexibility is extremely important in this role. At times, some infrastructure technicians may focus on local tower audits, inspections, and maintenance for several weeks, while others may be assigned to new site builds, deployments, and expansion projects that may require travel and overnight stays. This is a dynamic, hands-on role for individuals who enjoy variety, teamwork, and building something meaningful.
Willingness to obtain and maintain climbing certification is a MUST.

Travel Requirements:
0-50% travel required, mileage reimbursement or use of company vehicle. Some overnight travel may be required. Travel expectations may increase as the network expands and project needs evolve. Schedule flexibility is important.
