We’re looking for an AI Delivery Lead to drive product delivery, release operations, and team alignment across our mobile application portfolio — 20+ apps serving HVAC contractors and distributors across 12 business units on iOS and Android.
This isn’t a traditional Scrum Master role. This isn’t a “run ceremonies and update Jira” role. You’ll sit at the intersection of product, technology, and operations — part delivery leader, part product thinker, part hands-on operator. You’ll be hands-on across the full spectrum — one day you’re validating push notifications before they go to 50,000 users, the next you’re analyzing retention cohorts to pitch a marketing campaign, and the afternoon you’re drawing a Lucidchart diagram to explain a new feature flow to a business partner.
The role is also deeply relational: you’ll build trust with developers, earn credibility with business partners across 12 brands, and be the connective tissue that keeps everyone aligned and moving.
We’re also in the middle of a shift toward AI-augmented development workflows, and we want someone who can help drive that transformation — not just operate within it. You’ll shape how AI tooling integrates into our processes while staying hands-on with the work that matters: validating quality, digging into data, building campaigns, and making sure what we ship actually solves customer problems.
- Lead Agile delivery across two cross-functional technology teams supporting mobile applications on iOS and Android.
- Own the full release lifecycle: planning thru business leader sign-off with release cycles range from 1 to 3 months.
- Perform hands-on QA activities including ticket validation, regression testing, and push notification verification to ensure release quality.
- Facilitate sprint ceremonies
- Manage cross-team dependencies, release coordination, and escalation paths.
- Help drive our transition toward AI-augmented development — identifying where AI tooling can reduce manual work and improving processes as the technology matures.
- Champion adoption of AI tools across the team, helping developers and stakeholders get comfortable with new ways of working and automate repetitive manual processes
- Gather feature requirements from multiple business units and translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories while owning requirements fidelity
- Partner with designers (Figma) and business unit stakeholders to define, refine, and prioritize the product backlog.
- Track mobile technology trends, HVAC industry developments, and competitor offerings to inform product roadmap decisions.
- Bridge the customer feedback loop into the AI pipeline — feeding real user research and field data into development context so we’re building against actual customer problems, not assumptions.
- Triage user-submitted feedback and production issues — investigate using SQL databases, AI tools, and analytics platforms (Datadog, Mixpanel), determine root cause, and route to appropriate teams.
- Own the mobile app marketing strategy, developing digital marketing plans that drive adoption and retention based on data, not guesswork.
- Coordinate business unit marketing efforts including push notification campaigns and in-app banner requests — hands-on with scheduling, audience targeting, and content validation.
- Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear, audience-appropriate messaging.
- Be the person everyone wants to loop in because you make things clearer, not more complicated.
- Manage cross-business unit app configuration including push settings, app store listings, feature flags, and brand-specific behaviors across 12 business units.
- Maintain App Store and Google Play compliance, manage review responses, and fulfill platform-specific release obligations.
- Create process diagrams (Lucidchart) and visual documentation to communicate workflows, architecture decisions, and system interactions.
- Build and sustain a high-retention team culture through transparent communication, work-life balance practices, and team-building activities.
- Onboard new team members with structured documentation, process walkthroughs, and tool access coordination.
- Own the internal knowledge base — creating and maintaining visual-first documentation, feature guides, and step-by-step instructions to reduce miscommunication and rework.
- Be a relationship-builder who’s technically curious — someone who earns trust with developers and business partners alike, stays hands-on with the details, and is energized (not threatened) by the opportunity to reshape how their own role works through AI.
