Full Job Description

Title: Concierge (Part-Time)

Reports to: General Manager

Location: 5939 Goodfellow Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63147 / Receptionist Desk

Salary: $23 - $25/hr; 15 - 20 hours per week

Benefits: 10 Days PTO; Workers Compensation

Schedule: 9a - Noon (M - F); some evenings/weekends

About Northside Movement Center

Northside Movement Center (NMC) is a community-centered coworking and event space rooted in North St. Louis. We provide a dynamic, welcoming environment that supports local organizations and community gatherings. The Concierge plays a central role in ensuring the booking and hosting experience runs smoothly and hospitably.

Position Summary

The Concierge is NMC’s front line support for booking, hosting and addressing guest concerns. Additionally, the concierge may assist with ordering supplies and light vendor management related to hospitality services. This may also include acting as a liaison between third party vendors and guests. The main focus of this role will be on event execution and ensuring a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities

● Manage the booking system (Archie) and maintain host calendar (Google) ○ This requires gathering event details and managing email communications

● Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner

● Provide information about the space and available services

● Provide tours of the building

● Order and manage inventory of hospitality related supplies

● Other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Qualifications

● Previous concierge or guest services experience preferred

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to represent NMC professionally with clients, vendors, and community members

● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

● Possess strong problem solving skills

● Intermediate knowledge of Google Workspace

● Some experience with booking software (Archie) is preferred; ability to learn and navigate new information systems is required

● Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

● Reliable transportation
