We are a locally owned, neighborhood-leading and well stablished pet retail and grooming store located in North Frisco area. We are looking for a powerhouse Store Manager who doesn’t just manage a shift, but truly owns the business. We are seeking an energetic, animal-loving manager to lead our team, manage daily operations, and create a welcoming environment for pets and their parents.

The Role: Store Manager

As the Store Manager, you are the chief operating officer of your location. You have full accountability for the store’s financial health, team performance, and local brand reputation. We give you the playbook; you drive the execution.

Key Responsibilities & Accountability

Drive Profitability & Growth: Take full ownership of the store's financial performance. Execute visual merchandising, stocking, and pricing strategies to maximize retail sales while driving booking efficiency in the grooming salon.
Build a High-Performing Team: Recruit, train, and mentor a dedicated team. You are responsible for holding your staff accountable to high operational standards, scheduling efficiently, and cultivating a culture of respect, professional growth, and safety.
Customer & Community Retention: Act as the face of the neighborhood store. Create marketing strategies, build lasting relationships with pet parents and local partners to differentiate us in the pet industry.
Operational Excellence: Maintain an immaculate, beautifully presented store. Oversee strict cash handling, safety protocols, asset protection, and deep compliance with all operating policies.
Problem Solve with Autonomy: Tackle daily challenges with solutions-oriented "owner thinking"—whether managing inventory logistics or optimizing grooming schedules.

Qualifications for the Position

Experience: At least 3 years of proven experience managing pet store and retail operations, delegating tasks, and leading/coordinating a team of 4 or more employees.
Customer Track Record: Minimum of 3 years in a position requiring constant, high-touch interaction with clients or pet parents.
Availability: Complete scheduling flexibility. True owners are there when the business needs them, including weekends
Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong financial acumen (understanding how labor and inventory affect margins), and an unmatched ability to direct the work of others. Good knowledge or Microsoft word, excel, and comfortable with IT related tasks. Good understanding of social media channels and how to improve sales and brand/store awareness.
