Full Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ICU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Deliver advanced, life-saving care as an RN specializing in the Intensive Care Unit. This contract position offers the opportunity to support patients during their most critical moments, working alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team dedicated to quality outcomes. Nurses in this environment play a vital role in monitoring, assessing, and delivering interventions in a fast-paced setting.

Key Qualifications:

Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license
Minimum of 1 year recent ICU nursing experience
Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) certifications
Proficient in complex patient monitoring systems, ventilator management, and critical medication administration
Strong critical thinking, communication, and time management skills
Ability to adapt quickly and provide compassionate care in high-stress situations

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with life-threatening conditions
Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans
Administer medications, perform advanced nursing interventions, and operate ICU-specific equipment
Regularly document assessments, observations, interventions, and patient responses accurately in electronic medical records
Support and educate patients’ families, explaining procedures and updates with empathy and clarity
Participate actively in patient rounds and shift hand-offs to ensure consistency and safety in care delivery
Maintain compliance with infection prevention protocols and unit-specific best practices

$1,694 - $1,792/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
