Purpose of the Role
We are looking for an exceptional, committed Customer Relations/Administrative Assistant who is passionate about building relationships and positively affecting people. Someone reliable, responsible, and organized; has good leadership skills, is self-motivated, is an outstanding communicator, and is a dedicated team player.
You will support our commitment to deliver an excellent customer experience by paying attention to detail in managing studio tasks, being focused on our customers, and being supportive of the team with a positive attitude.
Main Areas of Responsibility will be:
- Maintaining the face of the company at the front desk reception area, the center for communication.
- Customer service, taking payments and answering questions, and solving problems.
- Nurturing relationships with leads, tracking, follow-up calls; giving tours, and setting up trial classes.
- Registering, onboarding and developing lasting relationship with new clients (software systems: Jackrabbit Dance, Trello, Mailchimp)
- Assisting in managing retail inventory and managing sales and event box office sales.
- Customer and teacher relations, making families and teachers feel cared for and that classes are running smoothly.
- Conduct regular office operations, ordering supplies, maintaining records, and updating reports necessary to communicate effectively with the team.
- Assist with social media posts by collecting and collaborating with the marketing team.

- In this role, you will report directly to the office manager. This will also include attending regular meetings to pass on key information and maintain momentum and detailed precision across all company projects.
- Maintain systems for business operations and communications on Google Calendars and other web-based platforms.
- Surprise our clients and exceed their expectations with above and beyond service and communication.
- Nurture and encourage our team while being a positive example of a team player.
- Act as a liaison between teachers, clients, and staff providing the utmost experience.

Times:
- Mondays 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM (4 hrs, Flexible), Tues, Wed, or Thursdays (4 hrs flexible, Fridays 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM (4 hrs), Saturdays from 8:30 AM until 1:30 PM (5 hrs approx)
- 15 -20 hours per week during the school year with a flexible summer schedule.
- Additional Hours may be required for events. Assisting with occasional box office duties, billing, and communications. (Generally Weekends)
Suwanee Academy of the Arts is a growing, vibrant school for the performing arts with many programs and events throughout the year. We’re looking for a long-term team member to grow with us and create growth within the company. The role is part-time but can move to more hours with the right person.
Growth opportunities are available depending on performance and results. To be a successful applicant, dealing with the public and having good computer skills are essential. This role is primarily on-the-floor admin/reception/sales work at the front desk. A background in the performing arts (music, drama, dance, musical theater) is a plus.
