Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively in various clinical settings, including clinic and surgical environments.

Duties

Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Perform medication administration as directed, adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate patient records, including coding and documentation of medical histories.
Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries.
Support the care of patients in specialized areas.
Conduct basic life support (BLS) as needed in emergency situations.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

Proficiency in medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare environment.
Experience or knowledge in dermatology care settings is highly desirable.
Familiarity with medication administration protocols and coding practices.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact compassionately with patients and their families.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
