Days of Operations: Monday-Friday, Breakfast and Lunch Events (8am-2pm), other events may be available!
Compensation: Gig-Dependant, average of $22/hr + 100% of Client Tips
General Duties:
- Transport food and necessary supplies to a client's location (using personal vehicle) and complete designated set-up/tear down for the event.
- Ability to pickup food/equipment at hub in Long Island City and complete events throughout NYC, including Manhattan
- Requires use of personal vehicle for most events (seeking drivers with vehicle, license, and auto insurance)
- Strategically coordinate with other members of the HUNGRY team
- Operate efficiently with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Professionally answer food-related questions and guide guests.
- Effective communication to ensure that all elements of the event are executed.
- High level attention to detail and outgoing personality
- Maintain professional demeanor and appearance during events
- Ability to choose when and how much you work.
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation (use personal vehicle)
- Valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- 18+ years of age.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Engaging, energetic, and customer-oriented.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Food service, catering, or event experience
