Opportunity Overview
We have an immediate opening for an Medical Records Coordinator to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Rockville, Maryland.
- Schedule: Monday though Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Following 90 day intro period a hybrid schedule will be introduced, beginning with limited remote flexibility (e.g., 1 day per work) and expanding based on performance, proficiency, and demonstrated ability to work independently.)
- Compensation: $20 to 23 per hour (commensurate with experience)

In this role, the Medical Records Coordinator will:
- Manually enter information from patient requests into the system accurately
- Look up patient information and update patient forms submitted electronically
- Perform outbound calls to patients as needed
- Navigate various applications to retrieve and update patient data
- Prioritize and manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines
- Maintain high attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks
- Decipher different processes and apply them correctly based on the situation
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients
- Work independently while also contributing as a team player
- Take initiative to solve problems and improve workflow processes

Qualifications and Skills Include:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow processes correctly
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with patients
- Proficiency in navigating multiple applications and electronic systems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Self-sufficient with the ability to take initiative and problem-solve
