Join our dynamic team as a Tax Associate and play a vital role in delivering comprehensive tax services that drive client success! In this energetic position, you will be at the forefront of tax planning, compliance, and consulting, working closely with clients to optimize their financial strategies. Your expertise will help ensure adherence to industry regulations while providing innovative solutions that support business growth. Duties

Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant tax laws
Assist in developing complex financial models to support mergers & acquisitions, restructuring, and other strategic transactions
Conduct detailed analysis of financial data using spreadsheets and financial software to identify opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation
Support auditing processes by reviewing financial statements and ensuring adherence to financial regulatory compliance standards
Collaborate with clients to communicate tax strategies, findings, and recommendations clearly and professionally
Stay current on industry knowledge of financial regulations and industry best practices to provide expert guidance on tax accounting and finance matters
Contribute to project management efforts by coordinating multiple client engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Requirements

Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a strong understanding of tax accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel spreadsheets, for data analysis and modeling
Experience with financial software tools used for tax preparation and financial analysis
Solid analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately
Knowledge of GAAP standards and industry-specific financial regulations governing taxation and compliance
Excellent client communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly and effectively
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
