Full Job Description

Job Overview

The Hotel Receptionists are responsible for overseeing front desk operations during Morning weekend shifts while performing accounting and administrative duties. This role ensures excellent guest service, accurate financial reporting, and the safety and security of the property during nighttime hours.

Typical Schedule

Saturday - Tuesday Evenings
(commonly 3:30 PM - 11:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist hotel guests during check-in and check-out
Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries or concerns
Process reservations, cancellations, and room assignments
Balance daily financial transactions and close out the business day
Prepare and distribute night audit reports
Verify room rates, payments, and guest accounts for accuracy
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and billing issues
Monitor hotel security and perform routine property checks
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred
Basic accounting or bookkeeping skills helpful
Ability to work independently overnight
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable using hotel property management software
Reliable attendance and punctuality required

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
