Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Apartment Manager to lead our brand new 53 unit residential townhouse community to success! Many of the units will be rented to our employees as a benefit (reduced rent) but some will be rented to outsiders. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional resident experiences, and maintain the property’s overall health and compliance. You’ll be responsible for driving leases, property maintenance, and creating a vibrant living environment that residents love. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in property management, legal compliance, and tenant relations while fostering a positive community atmosphere.

Duties

Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and resident relations to maximize occupancy and satisfaction.
Oversee property maintenance and facilities management, coordinating repairs and upgrades to uphold safety standards and property value.
Conduct legal administrative tasks such as reviewing contracts, negotiating lease terms, and managing landlord-tenant law adherence.
Handle conflict management with residents or vendors professionally and efficiently to resolve issues promptly.
Lead leasing efforts through sales techniques. Sales channel knowledge of finding prospective tenants.
Maintain accurate filing systems and manage office administrative responsibilities with excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
Foster positive relationships with residents through effective customer relationship management strategies.
Coordinate property inspections, routine audits, and facilities management activities to ensure optimal operation of the community.

Qualifications

Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on apartment communities..
Demonstrated ability in legal administrative tasks including contracts review and possible evictions.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict management professionally.
Experience in property leasing and sales techniques. Sales channel knowledge of finding prospective tenants.
Background in facilities management or property maintenance coordination is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for filing, data entry, and record keeping.
Effective communication skills including phone etiquette for engaging with residents, vendors, and team members.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
