Full Job Description

Rx HealthCare Services is looking for a driven and experienced Caregiving Services Supervisor to lead and support our Caregiving Division. The Caregiving division is one of the original departments of Rx HealthCare Services, providing trusted in-home care services to the community for over 35 years.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, a strong communicator, and passionate about helping others. The Caregiving Services Supervisor will provide direct oversight to the Caregiving Coordinators and will help ensure the department runs smoothly, efficiently, and with a strong focus on client satisfaction, caregiver support, and continued program growth.

Caregiving Services Supervisor Basic Qualifications

Education/Training:
At least 2 years of administrative office experience within healthcare, home care, caregiving, staffing, or a related field. Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organizational ability, leadership experience, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, strong problem-solving skills, and experience using Microsoft Office. Must be comfortable working with clients, families, caregivers, facility staff, and internal team members.

Caregiving Services Supervisor General Responsibilities

The Caregiving Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Caregiving Division and providing direct supervision and support to the Caregiving Coordinators. This role serves as a key point of leadership for the department and helps ensure that scheduling, staffing, client communication, caregiver support, recruitment, payroll coordination, and compliance-related tasks are completed accurately and timely.

The Caregiving Services Supervisor will work closely with the Caregiving Coordinators to maintain client schedules, support caregiver retention, assist with recruitment and hiring efforts, monitor client satisfaction, and ensure department paperwork and staff credentials remain current. This position also assists with developing and improving department processes, supporting growth efforts, and maintaining the high level of care and service Rx HealthCare Services is known for.

The Caregiving Services Supervisor may be required to travel to client homes, facilities, and community locations to conduct assessments, supervisory visits, client follow-ups, staff support visits, and marketing or recruitment-related activities.

Caregiving Services Supervisor Essential Duties

Provide direct supervision, guidance, and support to Caregiving Coordinators.
Oversee daily scheduling operations for clients, caregivers, and contracted facilities.
Ensure appropriate staffing coverage for client needs, call-offs, schedule changes, and urgent requests.
Monitor coordinator workflow and assist with prioritizing department needs.
Provide excellent communication and customer service to clients, families, caregivers, facility partners, and internal staff.
Support caregiver recruitment through online job boards, community outreach, in-person events, and other strategic sourcing methods.
Assist with screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of field staff.
Oversee new hire orientations and ensure caregivers understand department policies and procedures.
Monitor caregiver retention, performance, and overall staff satisfaction.
Assist with caregiver coaching, counseling, and performance improvement as needed.
Review and assist with weekly payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
Ensure all required caregiver documents and credentials remain current, including PPD, CPR, car insurance, training hours, and other required records.
Conduct or oversee supervisory visits for field staff.
Conduct client assessments, reassessments, satisfaction calls, and follow-up visits as needed.
Assist with resolving client concerns, caregiver concerns, and scheduling issues in a professional and timely manner.
Support the development and improvement of Caregiving Division processes and procedures.
Assist with marketing and community outreach efforts to help grow the Caregiving program.
Participate in evening and weekend on-call duties as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all client, caregiver, and company matters.
Work collaboratively with leadership to support department goals, quality improvement, and continued growth.

Work Environment

This position includes both office-based work and occasional field visits to client homes, facilities, and community locations. The employee may be required to drive to and from client homes, facilities, marketing events, recruitment events, and the office. The role requires strong communication, organization, flexibility, and the ability to respond to changing department needs.
