With a broad spectrum of practice areas, including litigation, we provide personalized attention and innovative strategies to meet our clients' evolving needs. As we expand our footprint, we seek a motivated Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team in Gold River, California.

About the Position: Experienced Legal Assistant – Civil Litigation

Seeking a litigation‑savvy Legal Assistant with strong knowledge of CA court rules, calendaring, matter management, and e‑filing. Must have 5+ years of civil litigation experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in a high‑volume practice. Full‑time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Are detail‑oriented, proactive, and calm under pressure

Responsibilities:

Keeping our litigation calendars accurate and ahead of deadlines
Managing matters from intake through resolution
Preparing and filing pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial documents
Communicating with courts, clients, and vendors
Supporting attorneys with trial prep, discovery organization, and case strategy logistics
General office support as needed.

Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in a legal office with working knowledge of civil rules and procedures.
· Strong calendaring skills with the ability to track and manage deadlines effectively.
· Familiarity with civil rules, probate and procedures.
· Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat, with general computer and technical proficiency.
· California Notary Public certification preferred.
· Experience with Clio or similar legal practice management software is a plus.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Familiarity with legal citation formats, including the California Style Manual.
· Experience supporting multiple attorneys.
