Social Media Coordinator / Content Creator

Large local retailer is seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator / Content Creator to join our in-house Advertising Department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys storytelling through social media, graphic design, photography, and video content while working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Full-Time Position In-Office
Monday – Friday

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Planning, creating, and scheduling engaging content across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X, YouTube, and emerging channels
Photographing showroom displays, events, and team members
Filming and editing short-form videos, reels, and promotional content
Designing digital and print advertisements, brochures, flyers, email graphics, and social media assets
Developing and maintaining social media content calendars
Monitoring social media engagement and responding as needed
Updating website promotions and digital content
Tracking campaign performance and preparing reports
Proofreading marketing materials for accuracy and consistency
Coordinating advertising deadlines and trafficking creative assets
Assisting with marketing projects, data entry, and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Advertising, or a related field
Strong graphic design skills and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, etc.)
Experience creating content for social media platforms
Photography and photo editing experience
Video filming and editing experience, including creating Reels, Stories, and short-form content
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media management tools
A positive attitude, creativity, and willingness to take initiative

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with paid social media advertising
Familiarity with Google Analytics and website content management systems
Experience working with retail, furniture, home décor, or lifestyle brands
