Job Overview

We are seeking a driven and highly responsive Priority Responder to join our team, dedicated to delivering immediate, high-quality support during emergency property loss situations. As a key member of our frontline response team, you will be the first point of contact for clients experiencing water, fire, mold, or other property damage.

This role requires urgency, professionalism, and strong relationship-building skills, as you will be responsible for responding to losses, securing work authorizations, and ensuring a seamless handoff to production teams. Your ability to act quickly, communicate clearly, and instill confidence in clients will directly impact customer satisfaction and project conversion.

This is a fast-paced, high-impact position where you will play a critical role in helping people during stressful situations while driving company growth.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first responder to emergency service calls, arriving on-site or engaging clients quickly to assess needs and initiate services.
Act as the primary point of contact for property owners, insurance partners, and key stakeholders during the initial phase of a loss.
Convert incoming leads into signed work authorizations by clearly explaining the restoration process and building trust with clients.
Prioritize and manage multiple emergency situations simultaneously, ensuring rapid response times and proper escalation when needed.
Coordinate closely with mitigation, reconstruction, contents, and customer experience teams to ensure a smooth and urgent project handoff.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all interactions, job notes, and agreements using CRM and job management software (e.g., Encircle, DASH, or similar).
Communicate professionally and confidently via phone, in-person, and email with strong emphasis on customer care and urgency.
Develop and maintain relationships with insurance adjusters, agents, plumbers, property managers, and commercial partners.
Participate in on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 emergency response coverage.
Identify opportunities for improvement in response time, communication, and client experience to increase close rates and satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven experience in restoration, construction, emergency services, or high-pressure customer service roles preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly in stressful situations.
Sales-oriented mindset with experience in closing service-based opportunities or converting leads.
Ability to remain calm, organized, and decisive under pressure.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general CRM/job management software.
Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and documentation skills.
Experience with insurance claims, property damage restoration, or related industries is highly desirable.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for emergency response.
Willingness to work after-hours, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, etc.)
Experience working with insurance carriers and adjusters
Background in business development or relationship management within restoration or trades
Bilingual or multilingual communication skills
