Full Job Description

Join our team at Mountain View Surgery Center, a leading outpatient facility specializing in Endoscopy procedures. As a Medical Assistant, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional care and support to our patients. Located amidst the picturesque beauty of our namesake, our state-of-the-art center is dedicated to providing personalized, safe, and effective surgical solutions.

We are seeking a reliable Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. If you possess exceptional clinical skills and are committed to making a positive impact on patients' lives, we want to hear from you!

Position: Medical Assistant Salary: $22-23/hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities:

Assist medical professionals in providing outstanding patient care and support.
Demonstrates competency and knowledge of medical records documentation.
Take vital signs, record medical histories, and update patient information accurately.
Identifies vital patient care needs and prioritizes accordingly.
Assists with preoperative patient preparation and postoperative patient discharge.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth clinic operations and efficient patient flow.

Requirements:

One (1) year job experience required.
Current BLS required.
Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus, but not required.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic medical environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording patient information.
Demonstrated commitment to patient care and well-being.
Proficiency in basic medical procedures and terminology.

Work Schedule:

This position follows an alternative work schedule of four (4) days per week, totaling 40 hours. Employees will work 10-hour shifts per day, beginning between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. based on department needs and supervisor approval.
Employees will receive three (3) days off each week. The position does not require evening or weekend work. Occasional adjustments to the schedule may be made to meet operational or staffing needs.
