Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Immigration/Civil Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support complex federal immigration litigation cases, ensuring smooth case progression from inception to resolution. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal research, document management, and client communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects efficiently. As a vital member of our firm, you will contribute to delivering exceptional legal services and maintaining high standards of professionalism and accuracy. Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence for immigration litigation matters
Manage case files using document management systems, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date
Review and organize legal documents, contracts, and evidence for litigation cases while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines, court filings, and procedural requirements across multiple cases
Perform administrative tasks including data entry, filing, proofreading, transcription, and maintaining organized case documentation
Communicate effectively with clients via phone or email while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills

Requirements

Paralegal experience with a focus on immigration law and civil litigation required;
Hands on experience with CM/ECF system required
Proficiency in legal case management software including; familiarity with document review systems is desirable
Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear legal documents and proofread meticulously
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines
Hands on experience in putting together court submissions and creating and editing documents in Adobe or similar software
Experience in conducting client interviews and gathering relevant case information effectively
Strong clerical skills including data entry, filing, document management systems operation, and administrative support experience
Exceptional communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Fluency in English and Spanish (oral and written)
