Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dual licensed Massage Therapist/Esthetician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy along with the ability to assess patient needs and provide effective pain management solutions. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional patient service in a med spa environment, focusing on both relaxation and therapeutic treatments.

Duties

Perform thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans.
Administer various types of massages, including deep tissue massage, to alleviate acute pain and promote overall wellness.
Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress.
Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Uphold cleanliness and organization in treatment areas, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements

Valid massage therapy and Esthetics license in accordance with state regulations.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Experience in pain management techniques, including acute pain management strategies.
Excellent patient service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients.
Familiarity with med spa practices is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to perform physical examinations as needed during patient assessments.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
