Job Summary
A Long-Term Care Nursing Manager plays a vital leadership role within our dynamic community, driving excellence in patient care, staff management, and operational efficiency. This position involves working with the nursing leadership team to oversee the nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic vision, strong management skills, and a passion for education and mentorship to elevate nursing practices and support organizational goals.

Duties

Lead and coordinate nursing teams to deliver exceptional patient or student care, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements
Develop and implement strategic plans to improve clinical operations, patient outcomes, and educational programs
Work closely with nursing leadership to manage departmental budgets effectively, allocating resources to optimize staffing, supplies, and training initiatives
Collaboration with nursing leadership in areas of staff recruitment, onboarding, ongoing education, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated and competent team
Collaborate with academic faculty or healthcare administrators to integrate educational curricula with practical training needs
Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, health regulations, and institutional policies through regular audits and quality assurance measures
Provide leadership in crisis situations, guiding teams through emergencies with confidence and clarity
