At Johnson Bread Distribution (JBD), we are a locally owned independent distributor proudly serving Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming since 2016. We partner with trusted bakery brands including Dave’s Killer Bread, Wonder Bread, Nature’s Own, Sun-Maid, Canyon Bakehouse, and Tastykake.
We are seeking dependable, self-motivated Route Sales Representatives who take pride in their work, enjoy working independently, and value building long-term customer relationships. This is a hands-on route position where consistency, reliability, and strong execution directly impact your earnings and success.
In this role, you will manage your own assigned route, ensuring retail stores are fully stocked, well merchandised, and supported with excellent customer service.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and service an assigned retail route with consistent customers
- Deliver, stock, and rotate bakery products to maintain freshness and strong shelf presentation
- Build sales through proper merchandising, shelf placement, and incremental display opportunities
- Prepare, load, and organize daily route product
- Safely operate a company delivery vehicle in accordance with DOT requirements
- Complete daily DOT logs, vehicle inspections, and route compliance requirements
- Manage route accountability including inventory counts, product ordering, and daily settlement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers and retail partners
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable, self-driven work ethic
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to perform physical job duties (lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, bending, standing for extended periods)
- Comfortable working independently and driving in all weather conditions
- Professional communication and customer service skills
Schedule
- 5-day work week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
- Off Wednesday and Sunday
- Early start time: 3:00 AM – 5:00 AM
- Routes typically finish early in the day depending on volume
Compensation
- Base pay plus commission
