Field Data Specialist
Job Summary
SYNCADD Systems, Inc. is seeking a full-time onsite ePRISMS Field Data Specialist to support facility survey and inventory at Fort Drum, NY. ePRISMS is the Army's enterprise solution for space utilization management, providing visibility to floor plans, maps, and readiness data.

The ePRISMS Specialist will be responsible for the full lifecycle of facility data capture, from on-site surveys through final floor plan creation. Field-based work will be performed onsite at Fort Drum, NY. Fieldwork involves the physical surveying of buildings and facilities with mobile computing tools to accurately measure exterior and interior buildings and spaces. The ePRISMS Specialist will also collect and document detailed space information, including room usage, occupying units, and staffing levels. The fieldwork requires walking and standing for up to eight (8) hours per day.
In advance of the fieldwork, the ePRISMS Specialist will coordinate survey activities (building and facility access, priorities, schedule, timeline, etc.) with Government personnel then the ePRISMS Specialist will post-process the data and develop floorplans using CAD software based on the field findings. The pre- and post- fieldwork activities will occur onsite at the Fort Irwin office.
Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is desired, but is not required, and applicable training will be provided. Furthermore, prior knowledge of Army business systems or real property reporting is preferred but not required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed facility surveys using laser measurement tools and CAD software
- Collect, validate, and document building, occupancy, and space-use date
- Update and verify existing floor plans, noting discrepancies
- Convert field survey data into accurate, detailed floor plans using CAD tools (e.g., MicroStation)
- Perform quality control to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Interact professionally with military and civilian personnel
- Learn and apply Army real property management processes, terminology, and system requirements to ensure compliance
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Due to federal contract requirements, must be a U.S. Citizen and be capable of obtaining a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Physically able to stand/walk 6–8 hours per day and work outdoors
- Associate’s degree or certificate in CAD with 1 year of architectural drafting experience (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented, reliable, self-motivated, and able to learn quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; team-oriented
Preferred Skills
- Experience with MicroStation, Revit, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software
- Familiarity with DoD or federal real property management and military protocols
- Prior military experience is a plus
- Background in CAD or GIS

The compensation will be competitive and commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience. This position includes health care and retirement benefits. Relocation allowance will not be provided.
