Now Hiring – Team Members, Cashiers & Line Cooks
We’re looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join our team at Alien Boba and Number 9 on Fort Irwin. Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time work, we have opportunities for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing great customer service.
Training
All new hires complete a paid two-week training program to learn our procedures, food safety standards, customer service expectations, and daily operations for both locations.
Alien Boba
Alien Boba is a specialty drink shop serving a wide variety of boba teas, specialty beverages, and refreshments. Team members typically work alongside one or two coworkers depending on business levels.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing drinks according to recipes and quality standards
- Providing friendly customer service
- Operating the cash register and handling cash transactions
- Opening and closing the store independently
- Counting and balancing the cash drawer
- Restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness
- Lifting up to 50 pounds when needed
- Following food safety and sanitation procedures

Number 9
Number 9 serves burgers, Asian-inspired dishes, and a selection of boba drinks. We are hiring both Cashiers and Line Cooks. This location is located in the RUBA area and operates seasonally based on military training schedules. When soldiers are training in the field, the location may temporarily close.
This is a fast-paced environment where teamwork, efficiency, and reliability are essential.
Responsibilities include:
- Taking customer orders and processing payments (Cashiers)
- Preparing food safely and efficiently (Line Cooks)
- Assisting with beverage preparation
- Opening and closing the store independently
- Counting and balancing the cash drawer
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Restocking inventory and supplies
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
- Following all food safety and sanitation standards
Position Details:
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Seasonal operation based on military training schedules
- Evening and late-night shifts available
- Some shifts may run until 2:00 AM, while slower nights may close between 10:00 PM and midnight
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Comfortable handling cash and following company procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Food service or customer service experience is preferred but not required—we are happy to train the right candidates.
