ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Records the daily banking entries, funds transfers and ACH transactions for multiple accounts
Reconciles, posts and provides/completes accurate reports as required on multiple accounts daily, weekly and monthly depending on company schedules.
Reconciles parts inventory for multiple locations daily.
Approves accounts payable invoices as required
Follows up on all inaccuracies and takes appropriate action to track and resolve to acceptable outcome
Maintains a professional appearance.

Additional Duties:

Completes vendor credit applications
Post month end closing journal entries
Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Required

2 - 4 years: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
