Join Our Team

Are you passionate about helping people achieve their financial goals while providing outstanding service? We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and motivated MSR I / Lending Assistant to join our team. In this dual-role position, you will support both member service and consumer lending operations, helping members with their day-to-day financial needs while contributing to a positive and professional member experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual willing to learn and who enjoys building relationships, working in a fast-paced environment, and developing a career in the financial services industry.

What You'll Do

Provide exceptional service to members by handling inquiries, requests, and account transactions in person, by phone, and through electronic channels.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, wires, and other member service activities.
Open, maintain, and service member accounts while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Support consumer lending operations by reviewing applications, verifying documentation, processing loan requests, and assisting with loan closings and funding.
Maintain accurate member, loan, insurance, title, and lien records.
Identify member needs and recommend appropriate credit union products and services.
Balance and reconcile cash drawers while safeguarding member and credit union assets.
Stay current on credit union products, services, policies, procedures, and regulations.
Adhere to all security, fraud prevention, BSA, OFAC, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.
Participate in training, meetings, and team initiatives while supporting overall organizational goals.

What We're Looking For

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

Previous customer service, teller, lending support, or financial institution experience preferred.
Experience working in a member-focused or customer-focused environment is a plus.

Skills & Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with computers and data entry.
Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
