Senior Analyst, Compensation

Location: Miami, FL – Hybrid
Job Type: 3-Month Contract
Pay: $50.00 per hour

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst, Compensation to provide analytical and consultative support for compensation programs, policies, and processes.

This role will support job evaluations, market pricing, compensation analysis, cost modeling, reporting, salary structures, and compensation planning activities. The Senior Analyst will partner closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, business leaders, and other stakeholders to provide compensation guidance and data-driven recommendations that support market competitiveness, internal equity, and consistent compensation practices.

Key Responsibilities

Support the administration of annual and cyclical compensation programs, including salary, bonus, and equity processes.
Conduct job evaluations, review job descriptions, assess organizational levels, and develop compensation recommendations.
Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders on compensation-related needs and decisions.
Conduct market pricing and compensation analyses to evaluate pay competitiveness and internal equity.
Develop and maintain salary ranges, pay grades, compensation structures, and related tools.
Analyze compensation survey data and internal workforce information to identify trends and support pay recommendations.
Develop and maintain compensation metrics, reports, dashboards, and analytical tools.
Conduct compensation cost analyses, financial modeling, and workforce analyses to support planning and business decisions.
Support the administration, enhancement, and documentation of compensation programs, processes, systems, and workflows.
Assist with variable pay processes and other compensation-related initiatives.
Research compensation trends, market developments, and emerging best practices.
Participate in compensation surveys and evaluate external compensation data sources and methodologies.
Support pay equity analyses, audits, documentation, and compensation governance activities.
Assist with compliance related to applicable federal, state, and local compensation requirements.
Develop tools, communications, and educational materials to help leaders and employees understand compensation programs and practices.
Identify opportunities to improve compensation processes, reporting, accuracy, efficiency, and user experience.
Perform additional compensation-related projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation, total rewards, HR analytics, human resources, finance, or a related analytical function.
Working knowledge of compensation principles, salary administration practices, job evaluation methodologies, and market pricing concepts.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop clear recommendations.
Experience conducting analyses and developing insights to support business decisions and reporting needs.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, discretion, and sound judgment when handling sensitive or confidential information.
Ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively with stakeholders across multiple levels of an organization.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with HRIS platforms, reporting systems, data visualization tools, and/or large datasets.
Experience developing reports, dashboards, financial models, or other analytical tools.
Experience supporting compensation programs, compensation planning, or broader total rewards initiatives.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation or progress toward certification preferred, but not required.
