Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to lead the execution of clinical trials at our research site, ensuring compliance with GCP, ICH, HIPAA, FDA regulations, and company SOPs. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong clinical and organizational skills, and demonstrate a passion for advancing clinical research in a patient-centered environment. With experience overseeing a team. Experience with Psychiatry patient a plus.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Clinical Trial Management: Collaborate with the clinical research team to oversee the execution of assigned studies, ensuring adherence to study protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Patient Recruitment and Support: Screen potential study participants for enrollment eligibility, obtain informed consent, and conduct follow-up visits to monitor patient progress and welfare.
Data Management: Document clinical activities in source charts, enter data in Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems, and address queries promptly to maintain data integrity.
Clinical Procedures: Perform essential clinical procedures, including obtaining vital signs, conducting ECGs, and executing basic lab procedures such as blood specimen collection and processing.
Logistics Coordination: Manage the request and tracking of medical records, maintain study-specific supply inventories, and facilitate appointment scheduling and reminders for study participants.
Monitoring and Compliance: Conduct monitoring visits, resolve issues in a timely manner, file Serious Adverse Event (SAE) and deviation reports with sponsors and IRBs, and document and report adverse events and non-compliance issues as necessary.
Communication and Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with clients, team members, and study participants, working both independently and collaboratively to ensure study success.
Study Start-up and Training: Complete study start-up activities, prepare for site initiation visits and investigator meetings, and train on technology needed for studies.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Medical Assistant diploma, LPN/LVN, EMT credential, or Associate’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of clinical research or clinical experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience are acceptable.
Preferred Clinical Skills: Proficiency with basic clinical procedures (blood pressure, vitals, ECGs, phlebotomy) is highly regarded.
Technological Proficiency: Strong skill set with computer applications (Microsoft Office, electronic health records, web applications), including typing proficiency (40+ wpm).
Organizational and Communication Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to foster effective working relationships with patients, co-workers, and external customers, exhibiting professionalism and respect.
Adaptability: Capable of managing multiple tasks, adapting to changes in workloads and priorities, and solving problems independently.
Integrity and Confidentiality: Demonstrated high degree of integrity, dependability, and ability to handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines. Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is a plus.
