Job Overview:

Shooters Waterfront is seeking exceptional Bartender candidates to join our service team. We are searching for friendly, energetic, and upbeat candidates who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented restaurant environment.

Reports to: Restaurant Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned).

Provide exceptional guest service in a high-volume atmosphere, delivering a positive experience to all bar patrons.
Present themselves professionally, maintaining a clean and approachable appearance while anticipating guests' needs.
Be knowledgeable about the drink menu, specials, and ingredients to make recommendations and answer guest inquiries.
Collaborate with teammates, including barbacks, servers, and kitchen staff, to ensure guest satisfaction and timely service.
Remain positive and friendly when addressing customer complaints or issues, resolving them promptly and professionally.
Assist with bar opening and closing duties, including stocking, cleaning, and preparing the bar area.
Verify customer identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
Safely lift and move items such as kegs, boxes, and other bar equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Comply with attendance rules and maintain regular availability for scheduled shifts.
Promptly report emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, engineering items, and safety hazards to management.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one year of related experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar.
Frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
Availability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Comprehensive knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine is a must.
Reliable, consistent work attendance is a requirement and essential function of this position.
