Full Job Description

Job Description:
We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. This role will be responsible for assembling various components into finished products according to specifications, blueprints, or work orders. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and is ideal for someone eager to join a high growth company.

Responsibilities:

Follow all company safety protocols and procedures, including wearing safety shoes, glasses and ear protection
Use all tools safely and maintain a clean and organized work area
Read and interpret diagrams and schematics to ensure accurate assembly
Ensure structural quality by verifying products are level and square
Inspect components (corner posts, roofs, covers, etc.) for defects such as dents or scratches
Use torque wrenches to tighten bolts to required specifications
Utilize hand tools to accurately install materials following established procedures
Assemble copper bussing according to design specifications and verify proper spacing from phase to phase and ground
Understand and interpret manufacturing information including front views, bills of materials, drawings, blueprints and order entry systems
Assemble switchboards and panelboards using written and verbal instructions
Identify and communicate missing components, part shortages and problem areas
Track and communicate job progress within assigned work areas
Perform visual inspections before and after assembly to ensure quality standards are met
Identify nonconforming parts and troubleshoot errors
Support process improvement initiatives and assist with root cause analysis of production or quality issues
Collaborate effectively with team members and demonstrate strong communication skills

Qualifications:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Experience using hand and power tools
Experience reading blueprints and schematics

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
