A leading manufacturer of precision power transmission and motion control products is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional who enjoys solving technical challenges, working directly with customers, and supporting real-world industrial applications.

The role involves helping customers identify the right solutions for their equipment and applications while partnering closely with sales, engineering, and distribution teams. This is a highly collaborative, customer-facing position that combines technical problem-solving, application support, product training, and project coordination across a variety of industrial markets. Training and professional development are provided to help accelerate success in the role.

What You'll Do

Provide Technical Application and Product Support

Support the quotation process through product selection, application analysis, and technical recommendations
Review customer requirements and identify the most appropriate engineered solutions for their applications
Assist customers, distributors, and sales team members with technical questions and product-related inquiries
Utilize product sizing and selection tools to support application recommendations and project requirements

Partner with Customers and Internal Teams

Collaborate with regional sales managers, distribution partners, and internal stakeholders to support customer projects
Provide application guidance and technical consultation throughout the customer journey
Help troubleshoot technical challenges and support resolution of product-related issues
Serve as a trusted technical resource for both customers and colleagues

Support Training and Business Development Activities

Conduct product training sessions and technical presentations for customers and partners
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and occasional customer visits
Contribute technical expertise to customer meetings and business development initiatives

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related technical discipline preferred
Previous experience in engineering support, technical sales, automation, industrial products, internships, co-ops, or related environments is preferred but not required
Strong technical aptitude and interest in industrial automation, machinery, motion control, or engineered products
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience working with ERP and CRM systems is a plus
