Are you a passionate chef who loves sharing your knowledge and bringing people together through food? CocuSocial is expanding our culinary experiences in the Charlotte market, and we’re looking for talented Chef Instructors to join our growing team!

This is a flexible, part-time contractor opportunity where you’ll get to teach fun, hands-on cooking classes while connecting with food lovers in your community.

Competitive Compensation: Earn $200–$350 per class, with opportunities to teach multiple classes per week as the schedule allows.

Support from Our Team: We handle the behind-the-scenes details including marketing, ticket sales, customer service, ingredients, equipment, and event logistics, so you can focus on what you do best: teaching and creating a great experience for your guests.

About You

Passionate About Food: You genuinely love cooking and enjoy sharing that passion with others.

Culinary Experience: You have a professional culinary background and are confident in the kitchen.

Great Communicator: You can clearly demonstrate techniques, explain recipes, and make guests feel comfortable and engaged.

Teaching Experience: At least 2 years of teaching or instructional experience is preferred, but we’re open to candidates with strong culinary backgrounds and a natural ability to teach.

Personable & Fun: Our classes are social experiences, so we’re looking for chefs who enjoy interacting with people and creating a welcoming, relaxed environment.

Hands-On & Reliable: You’re comfortable leading an active class, working with guests, and managing setup and cleanup.

Physically Able: You must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs as part of class setup and event operations.

What You’ll Teach

You’ll have the opportunity to lead some of our most popular cooking experiences, featuring cuisines and recipes from around the world. We’ll work with you to develop class concepts that fit your expertise while also appealing to local customers.

Have a Great Space? If you have access to a suitable kitchen or venue, we’d love to hear about it! We’re always interested in opportunities to host smaller, more intimate classes in unique spaces.
