Full Job Description

Position Summary

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented professional to oversee the company’s accounting, payroll, and human resources functions. The right candidate will be organized, trustworthy, experienced with financial records and payroll, and comfortable handling confidential employee and company information.

This position will work closely with management and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, managing employee records and benefits, and ensuring company policies and compliance requirements are followed.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting

Manage day-to-day accounting activities and financial records.
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
Monitor customer accounts and assist with collections.
Prepare financial reports and provide information to management.
Review invoices, payments, deposits, and company expenses for accuracy.
Assist with month-end and year-end accounting procedures.
Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation.

Payroll

Process bi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.
Review employee pay rates, deductions, commissions, and other payroll adjustments.
Maintain accurate payroll records.
Research and resolve payroll discrepancies.

Human Resources

Maintain confidential employee personnel records.
Manage employee onboarding and offboarding.
Maintain employee benefits, insurance, and enrollment records.
Track vacation, PTO, and other employee leave.
Assist management with employee policies and procedures.
Assist with employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, policies, and company procedures.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in accounting, payroll and HR.
Strong knowledge of accounting and payroll processes.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience with accounting software and payroll/HR systems preferred.
