ROLE SUMMARY: Responsible for leading quality control and training across HVAC, piping, plumbing, sheet metal, and electrical trades. Ensures installations meet contract, code, and company standards while improving field execution through training and coaching.

Regional Quality Control Leadership

Lead QC procedures across HVAC, piping, plumbing, sheet metal, and electrical Including Subcontractors (Controls.... etc.)

Establish inspection checkpoints

Ensure compliance with contract documents and codes

Drive consistency across the region
Field Inspection, Verification & Coaching
- Work with Inspector for HVAC, piping, plumbing, sheet metal, and electrical systems

Verify proper installation and system readiness

Document deficiencies and track resolution
-
Coach Superintendents and Foremen in the field
Training (Superintendents & Foremen)

Help develop and deliver structured training across all trades

Train on installation standards, QC processes, and coordination

Standardize onboarding and track training completion
Documentation & Reporting

Maintain/ Enforce QC documentation across all trades

Provide reporting to leadership

Use trends to drive process and training improvements
Preconstruction & Readiness

Participate in design and constructability reviews

Identify risks and mitigation strategies
-
Lead preconstruction QC alignment sessions
Commissioning & Turnover

Coordinate QC across mechanical and electrical systems

Work with Commissioning Supervisors

Ensure readiness for testing and turnover

Train field teams on commissioning requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: (Minimum requirements are those concerned with the very minimal qualifications sought for the role to include “education, experience, licenses, certificates, permits, etc., appropriate to the role)

10+ years of commercial MEP experience

5+ years in QC or field leadership
-
Multi-trade experience required

Experience training field teams preferred
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
Executes all tasks in a safe manner and always utilizes safe work practices. Will wear protective equipment when entering areas requiring same (Safety Helmets, Work Boots, etc.) Undergo DPAS training necessary for travel to worksites (if applicable). Will train on OSHA 10, 30 and other safety related courses as appropriate.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment. Manual material handling must be performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company policies to minimize risk of injury
