Salary Placement and Work Hours: This is a 12-month, full-time position, with the possibility of a 9-month appointment if preferred. Placement will be on the D1, 12-month Salary Schedule with a range of $63,413-$128,489, dependent upon education and applicable work experience. Placement is determined by the President and salary schedule guidelines. An additional salary amount may be possible, contingent upon approval of the President and the ACCS Chancellor. If employed on a nine-month basis, the salary range is $48,454-$98,138.
The typical work week is Monday through Friday, and hours worked will be a minimum of 35 per week. Weekend and/or evening work may be required on occasions.

Applications for the position will be reviewed to determine (1) if they are complete and (2) if the applicant meets the minimum qualifications required of the position. Interviews are then scheduled at the President’s discretion and will be conducted in person or through a web-interface such as Zoom, Skype, or Microsoft Teams. Criminal Background Checks-In accordance with Alabama Community College System policy and procedures, the applicant chosen for employment will be required to sign a consent form for a criminal background check. Employment will be contingent upon the receipt of a clearance notification from the criminal background check. Some applicants may be subject to fingerprint checks as required by the ACCS board policy.
