About Us

Alpha Labor Co is a Stuart, FL–based labor staffing company specializing in Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) erection crews for hyperscale data center projects across the country. We field hundreds of employees nationwide, working on some of the largest data center builds in the U.S.

The Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented team member, fully bilingual in reading, writing, and speaking English and Spanish, to join our office in Stuart and support day-to-day payroll and HR administration. You'll be the connective tissue between our field crews — many of whom are Spanish-speaking — and our office operations. This isn't a first-job-ever role: we want someone who's already worked in an office setting, is comfortable with computers, and can pick up our systems (QuickBooks Online, Airtable).

What You'll Do

Assist with weekly payroll data entry and timesheet reconciliation across QuickBooks Online and Airtable
Process new-hire paperwork — I-9/E-Verify documentation, onboarding forms, and employee file setup. Assist employees with onboarding.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records (contact info, certifications, job/site assignments)
Serve as a bilingual point of contact for field employees with payroll or HR questions, routing anything complex to the right person
Translate and help draft employee-facing communications, memos, and forms in English and Spanish
Support benefits enrollment paperwork and basic HR compliance recordkeeping
Provide general administrative support to the HR and Operations team
Field incoming calls/emails from field crews about pay discrepancies and log them for resolution

What You Bring

Fully bilingual in English and Spanish — reading, writing, and speaking in both. Non-negotiable.
1-2+ years of office, payroll, or HR admin experience. We need someone who already knows how to operate in an office environment.
Strong computer skills — comfortable with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, general data entry, and able to pick up new software (QuickBooks Online, Airtable)
Strong attention to detail — this role touches people's paychecks, accuracy matters
Professional and discreet with confidential employee information
Reliably commute to Stuart, FL

Compensation

$45,000–$55,000/year, based on experience
