Overview

We are looking for an Outside Sales Account Representative for Texas Johns. This position is located in San Antonio, TX and will be covering the San Antonio Territory. We are a growing company looking for an individual that wants tremendous growth potential and opportunity as we grow. This individual must be self-motivated as a supervisor oversight is limited. We are a locally owned portable toilet sanitation service company and looking for a self-motivated, hard-working and personable individual to join our growing team and growth path in San Antonio, TX.

Duties:

Traveling within an assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers.
Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
Demonstrates the functions and utility of products and services to customers based on their needs.
Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
Maintains detailed reports and records of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
Researching competitor’s services, products and pricing as well as market conditions
Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Manage territory sales by identifying opportunities within assigned regions.
Utilize effective sales techniques to meet or exceed sales targets.
Collaborate with inside sales teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Prepare and present sales proposals tailored to client needs.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the company software.

Required Skills:

Experience in construction and special events; familiarity with construction sites.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong consultative sales skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with CRM software and construction lead generation software.
Proficient with Microsoft Suite or related software.
Proven experience in retail or territory sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
Strong lead generation skills with the ability to identify potential customers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with clients.
Familiarity with customer service principles and practices.
Ability to manage multiple accounts effectively while prioritizing tasks.
Proficiency in using software tools for tracking sales activities and managing customer data.
A self-starter attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Sales, Business, or related field a plus.
At least 3+ years of related experience required

Compensation package will be comprised of a base salary, plus an aggressive commission schedule with tremendous opportunity, with PTO allowance and certain holidays paid, phone allowance, possible vehicle/vehicle allowance, employee health benefits, 401(K) retirement plan.
